Our Journey

The name of Heritage Boats has been associated with canal boat building and Evesham Marina for over 30 years and boats bearing the Heritage name are still built here to this day, although they are usually for specialised commercial purposes.

Heritage Boats of Evesham are now proud to market the Amber range of canal boats, both narrow and wide beam. These boats are built in our own factory in Poland, by craftsmen and women who have learnt their skills in the famous Gdansk shipyards. The boats were designed by Heritage Boat Builders who have won many prestigious awards and held the converted John Beardsmore Award for Excellence in Design and Engineering.

Our Amber range of boats come with an exceptional pedigree and backed up by an aftersales service from Wakering Engineering Co., Ltd., who own and operate Evesham Marina.

Wakering started trading in 1926, some 85 years ago and everything fitted to our boats is supplied by Evesham Marina to our factory in Poland. This ensures that if you needed a replacement part in the future, we know that it can be supplied from Evesham’s vast stock, maintaining an excellent aftersales service to Heritage owners.

Evesham Marina also boasts extensive facilities and provides a service to the waterways that is considered second to none.  From boat building to maintenance; chandlery; Webasto Heating main dealers; Barrus engine main dealers; The Battery Centre ; lifting; painting; refurbishment; refitting; moorings; brokerage, in fact, just about anything that a boater would require.  Although many of the above services would not be required by someone considering a new boat, the skills and service that Evesham Marina has to offer shows again your new boat will be looked after by the very best aftersales support.
